Collection: Co-existence

Presented at New York Fashion Week, Coexistence is a reflection on our responsibility toward all living beings who share this earth.

The collection brings forth species that are extinct or on the verge of disappearing like playful pandas, majestic tigers, towering giraffes, gentle elephants, flamingos and graceful birds, embroidered as reminders of what is at stake.

Crafted in handwoven khadi, the fabric of freedom, each garment carries an off-white and ivory palette brought to life with pink, green and blue embroidery. Aari, Parsi and mirror work by artisans from Kutch bring Indian craft into contemporary silhouettes on a global stage.

Coexistence is a reminder that being fashionable should never come at the cost of another life.

We must learn to coexist.
